Can elementary students create 3-D worlds?

Imagine a student creating a 3-dimensional virtual world to explain his or her thinking or reflections on an event such as a civil rights sit-in. software can make this happen. It is so easy for storytelling or student-telling as I like to call student-created reflections on things they observe and learn. Give your students this alternative and allow them to create 3-D worlds. If you have ever played SIMS, you know what virtual worlds can be! Now imagine your students creating a world or simulation to prove to you their understanding of a social studies, science, or math concept. 101641-1.png
